Welcome to The Fern! We’re excited to provide you with an exceptional event experience. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as they outline the rules and guidelines for using our event space.
Rental Period:
The rental period begins at the agreed-upon start time and ends at the agreed-upon end time. Any additional time required will be subject to additional fees.
Deposit and Payment:
A deposit is required to secure the booking and guarantee the space. Deposits are non-refundable and will be applied towards the final cost of the event. The remaining balance is due prior to the event date. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card.
Capacity and Safety
The maximum capacity of The Fern is 75 guests. Renters are responsible for ensuring that the number of guests does not exceed this capacity, as it can lead to safety concerns.
Set-Up and Clean-Up:
The renter is responsible for setting up and cleaning up the space before and after the rental period. Any damages or additional fees incurred during the rental period will be charged to the renter.
Equipment and Supplies:
The Fern provides basic amenities such as chairs, tables, and audio equipment. Any additional equipment or supplies required for the event are the responsibility of the renter.
Decorations and Alterations:
The renter is responsible for any decorations or alterations made to the space during the rental period. Please check with The Fern beforehand to ensure that any proposed decorations or alterations are acceptable.
Food and Beverages:
The renter is responsible for providing their own food and beverages for the event. Any outside caterers or vendors must be approved by The Fern beforehand.
Smoking and Alcohol:
Smoking is not permitted inside the facility. The Fern reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to any individual at any time.
Liability:
The Fern is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property that occurs during the rental period. The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Fern, its agents, and its employees from any liability that may arise from the rental period.
Cancellation:
In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. Any cancellations made within [insert time period] of the event date will result in the forfeiture of the full rental fee.
Changes to the Agreement:
The Fern reserves the right to make changes to this agreement at any time. Renters will be notified of any changes in advance.
